The Peter Bowe and Barbara Stewart Foundation supports organizations that strengthen American civic life and expand pathways to opportunity. The Foundation’s primary focus is advancing understanding of America’s civic heritage, institutions, and traditions in ways that cultivate informed citizens and encourage thoughtful dialogue across differences. Its secondary focus is supporting work, entrepreneurship, and other pathways that help individuals build self-sufficiency, contribute to their communities, and pursue meaningful lives. The Foundation only occasionally accepts unsolicited proposals.
